An independent litigation and transactional practice in dispute resolution, arbitration and real estate, acting for clients — promoter families and closely held companies, developers, and foreign parties — across various jurisdictions within and outside India. Appearances before the Supreme Court of India, the Orissa High Court, civil courts and the NCLT, and in institutional and ad hoc commercial arbitration, including before the ICC. Drafted and negotiated built-to-suit development agreements, long-term institutional leases, joint-development arrangements, IDCO industrial leases and the sale and purchase of development-grade land. Advised on corporate structuring for land and investment, shareholder arrangements, share transfers, wills and succession, conveyancing and company compliances.
Appeared for the State before the Orissa High Court — ten to fifteen matters a day across civil, service, mining, land-acquisition and contractual disputes — and led final arguments in several reported judgments, civil and criminal. Assisted the Advocate General in mining, arbitration and tender matters up to the Supreme Court.
Litigation and arbitration with the chambers of Parag Tripathi, Senior Advocate — on energy, infrastructure and regulatory disputes before the Supreme Court and the High Courts — and with Wadhwa Law Chambers, alongside real-estate advisory and some thirty-five active commercial briefs before the Delhi High Court, the NCLT, NCLAT, RERA and the Consumer Forums. Also briefed the Advocate General of Odisha in public-law and mining matters.
Researched and summarised arguments for landmark constitution-bench and public-interest judgments — including the challenge to Aadhaar, the recognition of passive euthanasia, and the status of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
